    The trials began short after the daughter and niece of Reverend Parris started to experience seizures. The daughter and niece were diagnosed as bewitched, hence the start of the trials.

    Three women were convicted of bewitching Reverent Samuel Parris' niece and daughter. These women were Tituba, Sarah Good, Sarah Osborne. Once sent to jail and interrogated Tituba confessed of practicing witchcraft while Good and Osborn were her helpers.

    After Governor Philips ended the Salem Witch Trials due to his wife being accused of being a witched, he pardoned those who were still in prison due to witchcraft charged and brought good omens to the names of the people who were hanged or died due to the accusations of witchcraft.
