Fourteen people were sent to jail, they had to confess they had made witchcraft, if not, they will be hanged. -
The Poppet
Marry gives Elizabeth a doll that she made in jail. Elizabeth is accused in court of witchcract and she is sure that Abigail is the author of the acusation. -
Elizabeth's arrest
Elizabeth is arrested. The town marshall finds the doll Marry gave to Elizabeth with the needle inside it. She was accused of witchcraft. -
Elizabeth and Proctor
Elizabeth wants Proctor to testify that the accusations are fake. -
The court
Gile accusses Putman of only wants more land. He claims to have evidence but he refuses to give the information so Gile ended arrested. -
Proctor and Mary
Mary testifies that she and the other girls were only pretending to be afflicted by witchcraft. Proctor assures him that he just wants to free his wife and the judge tells him that he need not worry about Elizabeth because she is pregnant. -
Proctor is accussed
Abigail and the girls begin screaming that Mary is sending her spirit at them and she become infected with the hysteria of the girls. She calls Proctor the devil’s man. The judge orders Proctor’s arrest. Hale denounces the proceedings and declares that he is quitting the court.
