They are gas-inflated nylon cushions built into the steering wheel, dashboard, door, roof, or seat of your car that use a crash sensor to trigger a rapid expansion to protect you from the impact or force from the charge of force from of an accident. It could help decrease head injuries or people flying out of their front screens of the car. -
Adaptive Lights
Electro-mechanical systems allow headlights to pivot and move with the driver, throwing light where the car is going and allowing the driver to both see and be seen. This could help decrease the the amount of people being hit and also it could illuminate the blind spots. They are very new technology and will be released in the new cars of 2012
