Seat Belts
The seat belt is used to hold the passenger and driver while the car is moving. The seat belt saves lives when people crash and collide one another. It is still used in cars and some transport e,g, buses, ferries etc. -
Anti-Lock Braking System
The ABS was first developed for aircrafts in 1929, in 1958 a 'Royal Enfield Super Meteor Motorcycle' tested the Anti-Lock Braking system. ABS is an automobile safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle to continue interacting with the road avoiding skidding. -
Airbags
Airbags are flown rapidly from the steering wheel when the sensor is alerted. Nitrogen rapidly comes out into the airbag making the airbag big and protecting the driver's face. -
Crumple Zones
Crumple Zones absorbs the impacts of the crash. Crumple Zones are located in the front par to the car. Mercedes Benz engineer Béla Barényi invented the Crumple Zone, it was an example concept. -
Traction Control System
Traction control system is also known as anti-slip regulation. It is design to prevent loss of traction of driven road wheels.
