It turned out to be a great relationship and they were happy. Katie needed someone in her life for support and Alex came at the right time. -
Kevin started looking for Katie
Kevin had enough with Katie being gone so he started posting missing person posters around town. He finally found out where she was living and working, so he drove to Southport to try and find her. -
The fire
Kevin finally found Kate and saw that was she was happy with another man. Kevin, being the drunk he is, wanted to do anything to hurt Katie but also wanted to bring her back home to beat her. One night when Katie and the kids were home, Kevin set their house on fire. The fire burned the house down and everyone got out safely.
