Assassination of Grigori Rasputin
Grigori Rasputin was called the "mad monk of Russia", he had a powerful influence over the last autocracy leader of Russia. He gained a lot of influence because he healed the the Tsar's son, miraculously. When the Tsar went to war and left the Tsarina to govern the country it was said that Rasputin had a influence over her. Rasputin also put his friends in the Duma. A group of nobles led by Prince Felix Yusupov, kill Rasputin on 30th December 1916 -

Women are protesting and male workers are protesting against the Government. -
Putilov Factory Strikes
The workers in the Petrogard's largest factory, Putilov Engineering Factory, wanted a 50% wage increase, so they can buy more food and other things. The factory's manangement rejected the demands, so the workers went on strike. -
Soldiers Shoot Demonstators
The soldiers of the Petrograd Army Garrison were called out to stop the uprising. In some places, the troops opened fire, killing the demonstrators. On the same the Nicholas dissolved the Duma again. -
The Duma Leaves Nicholas II
The members of the Duma went to Nicholas II and tells to him to abdicate. -
Abdication
Nicholas II abdicates the throne and tried to give it to his brother, Michael, but he refused the crown, which brought an end to the autocracy. -
The April Theses
Vladimir Lenin returns to Petrogard, Russia after being exiled. The Germans sent Lenin back to Russia to cause trouble to the Emperor, Nicholas II. Vladimir Lenin tells the Russian people, that the Bolsheviks will give them peace, food and land, if the people help the Bolsheviks overthrow the government. -
Milyukov Note
The note contained a statement that the Provisional Government, would continue the war. The Bolsheviks then spread mistrust of the Provisional Government. -
Kornilov Affair
The Red Guards (Bolsheviks' army) were armed by the Provisional Government to defend Petrograd against General Kornilov. General Kornilov was sent to eliminate the threat that the Petrograd Army Garrison was imposing. The Bolsheviks having influence over the railway and telegraph workers, they stopped Kornilov's troops to reach the city. Kerensky the head of the Provisional Government, has not realised that the Bolsheviks' Red Guards are now armed. -
Execution Of The Tsar's Family
The Tsar's family was sent to the basement of the Ipatiev House. They were told that they were going to a more secure location. Soon an execution squad from the secret police came and Yurovsky and said: "Nikolai Alexandrovich, in view of the fact that your relatives are continuing their attack on Soviet Russia, the Ural Executive Committee has decided to execute you."
