End of the Polish-Soviet War
The Polish-Soviet war was fought over areas of western russia like belarus and ukraine. The Poles gained control of large swathes of land that the soviets were hoping to control. Russian civil war still ongoing. -
Kronstadt Rebellion
Occurred at Kronstadt naval base, the sailors were supporters of the October revolution, but by 1921 they were disillusioned with soviet leadership under Lenin. Wanted an end to “war communism” and the rebellion was put down by the Red Army. -
Soviet Union Established
The first communist nation was established with the Russian, Transcaucasion, Belarusian, and Ukrainian SRs uniting into the Soviet Union.
