Russian military officers gathered and led about 3,000 soldiers into battle against the goverment. When the goverment gained control of this the Decembrists were sent off to Siberia. -
Nicolas ll
Nicolas ll was the last czar of Russia with his wife and four children. He became czar when his father died, but he didn't want to become czar. -

The Russo-Japanese War the Russians tried to expand into Japan, but they lost the war and Japan was the first Aisain power to defeat a Russian force. -
Bloody Sunday
A total of 200 people where killed and 800 wounded on Blody Sunday. The people where going to have a peaceful march to ask Nicholas ll for some rights. However he responed by sending troops out to kill the people. -
World War 1 Russian Involvment
In World War 1 Hitler and Stalin signed a non- agression treaty saying that they wouldn't attack each other. This benifited both sides because Hitler was trying to invade France without fear of being attacked by Russia. Stalin signed this because he needed to build up his defences. Eventually, Hitler broke the treaty and attacked Russia. -
March Revolution
The March Revolution was focused on Saint Peterburg. During the revolution the Duma attaned control of the country. The army felt like they didn't have a reason to get rid of the revolution. -
Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
After the Russo-Japanese war Nicholas ll was forced to abdicate the throne because a lot of people were mad at him for entering the war. Then in 1914 he sent them back into war, but this time they're weren't enough supplies for all of the soldgiers. -
The Russian Civil War begins
The civil war was fought between the red and white army. The red army was Bolsheviks, and the white army was mensheviks. The Bolsheviks won become they told the peasents that they would have a better life so they would fight for them. -
Creation of the USSR
The Union of Soviet Socialits, Republic was created when in replace of the temparrarly government. -
Vladimir Lenin's Death
While at his house in Gorki, Vladimir Lenin died from a series of Strokes. After he died there were two people that could take over, Stalin, and Trotsky.The results were that Stalin won.
