  • Russo Japanese war(1904-1905)

    Russian and Japan had a treaty over Northern China(Manchuria) and Korea and russia broke it This served as proof as weakness and was considered embarrassing and Czar Nicholas II was blamed and added to his negative reputation

    This is an elective legislature and limits his power and only does it to make his subjects happy for the embarrassment of bloody sunday and the Russo Japanese war This does not really have much power
  • Bloody Sunday

    The 200,000 workers and their family go to the czars winter palace to protest for better working conditions, living conditions, and a national legislature and made it clear that they were trying to come in peace however the czar was not there The generals fired at them and 100 killed and 3000 hurt This sparked many riots and strikes and blamed czar Nicholas II for the actions

    Rasputin was considered a holy man who was said to have magic healing powers and performed exorcisms Alexis has hemophilia which means his blood doesn't clot well Rasputin helped relieve some of Alexis symptoms People are worried that Rasputin was gaining political power and the nobility try to kill him multiple times death date is included

    The workers went on strike because of his Nicholas's poor actions in bloody Sunday, WWI failure, and the loss of the Russo Japanese war The Duma didn't do anything as well so that contributed to the revolt The Czar stepped down and the Provisional government took over The government was unpopular because the government stayed in WWI and
