The Decembrist Revolt
Russian Army soldiers led around 3,000 soldiers to protest against Nicholas the l to give up his throne meaning to not be the leader anymore in Sibieria. Nicholas the l killed five leaders and killed hundreds more in Siberia. -
The Russo-Japanese War
Russia found a Warm Water Port on the Pacific Ocean for the navey but was only able to be used in the summer time. They were albe to use Port Arthur during all seasons. At the end of The Sino-Japanese war, the agreement bettwen Russian and Japan have been growing. Russia showed Japan their policly of Expnasion over land. -
Bloody Sunday
A conflict with Japan over The Korea and Manchuria that causes the Russo-Japanese War. Workers went out asking Nicholas the ll for better working conditions and political freedoms. Father Gapon and other marchers thought that Nicholas the ll would respond to them. Thousands of unarmed people joined Father Gapon, they carried big banners and pictures of Nicholas the ll and his wife hoping he would give them what they wanted. The marchers started shooting at the picture of him.Killing many people. -
World War l
Four days after Austria-Hungary wanted war with Serbia, Germany and Russia wanted war against each other. THe next three days soldiers lined up getting ready to fire and the opposing country. Each country killed so many people that they decided to call it the war to end all wars. The Peace Treaty is what ended the war forced punitive terms on Germany that damaged Europe and layed there ground work. -
The March Revolution
After Nicholas the ll was killed the power started going to the Duma wich they agreed to share some power to counsils of workers and soldiers known as the Soviets. The Duma wasnt going to give them much power but just enough to satisfy the Soviets. -
Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
Nicholas the ll the czar was being turned against by everyone even his own soldiers. They didnt like him anymore he wasnt being fair. They all went on protest wanting him to give up his throne and not be the ruler anymore. One day Nicholas ll and his famiy took a free vacation to Siberia and took a family picture, when many amred men came in the room adn shot the whole family. -
