    Rosa Parks was born on Febuary the 4th 1913 in Tuskege, Alabama U.S. Her mother Leona McCauley was a teacher and her father James McCauley was a carpenter.

    Rosa Parks went to an Industrial School for Girls. She was forced to walk to the 1st - through 6th grade schoolhouse.

    Rosa Parks grew up on a farm with her brother (Sylvester), he mother and hermaternal grandparents. Her parents eventually seperated and took her and her brother Sylvester and moved to Pine Level.

    On 1932 December the 18th, Rosa Parks married Raymond Parks. Rosa was 19 and Raymond was 29.

    Rosa often worked as a seamstress when she needed a job or to earn some money. She aslo became a member of NAACP ( National Association of the Advancement of Coloured People) with her husband Raymond.

    Back then in the 1950's there were surten laws that were requied on seats on the buses. Rosa said "I was sick of being pushed around like I was a barbie doll, so I wanted to show many people that, each person must live their life as a model to others."
    She was in Jail for 1 day and had a fee of $10 and a court fee of $14 which is $24 all up.

    On the 1st of December, 1955 Rosa was going home from a long day of working as a seamstress she boarded the Montgomery City (known as the Henry Ford bus). She sat near the middle of the bus just ten seats behind the reseverd seats for white people. Th bus started getting full when one white man step on and the bus driver insisted that all the four black people who were sitting there would give up there seats so he could seat there. Rosa Parks quietly refused to get up.

    Rosa Parks died on the 24th of October 2005. There was a some very sad people but she made the world I differetn place.
