  • Pure Food and Drug Act

    This Act prohibited the sale of misbranded or adulterated foods and drugs in interstate commerce which was the first Consumer protection agency in the nation, the Food and Drug Administration.
  • Devils tower named first national monument

    Theodore Roosevelt claims Devils tower as the first national monument on September 24, 1906, it was established under the Antiquities Act.
  • Roosevelt's Africa Expedition

    Roosevelt went to Africa because it was a popular topic in the press and when he came back he wrote a book titled "African Game Trails". The book focuses on the materials and more found in Africa
