By the age of 15, Ronda was selected for the US Olympic Team. One year later, she was ranked No. 1 in the woman's half - middleweight division. She didn't claim gold in the Olympics but she did claim gold at the World Junior and Pan American Judo Championships. -
The End of the Judo Career
Ronda then went on to defend her Pan American Judo Championship title in 2006, She then became the first American woman in 12 years to earn a World Championship medal. The loss was so upsetting that she didn't fight anyone until a year after on UFC 207. She had come back from her loss and everyone was determined that she would make a comeback and dominate the woman's division once again. On Fight Night, her opponent Amanda Nunes won in 48 seconds. -

No one heard much from Ronda Rousey after her last fight. Soon, rumors began spreading that Ronda was bound to join the WWE. Ronda then made a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble in January 2018. She didn't end up winning the match but was then back the next night with Kurt Angle. They got "challenged " to a match at WrestleMania 34 and ever since, she became the best wrestler in the woman's division.
