Geography- Rome is founded
Rome was put on a hill so it would be difficult for invaders to attack. It also is not to close to a shore so it was not threatended by pirates. This is just their capital which they thought it would be smart to protect. -

Social- The Agora
The roman agora is a marketplace that was 112 meters by 96 meters. You could buy things sell things and socialize here. -
Intellectual- Philosphers
They had philosophers who would try to learn and invent things. They were also one of the most advanced countries. They were actually inventing some things that influence us today. -
Technological
sewer systems, blacksmiths, stables, barracks, giant walls. -
Economy
They used gold and silver in this time period. -
Religious- Pagan
During ancient roman times they had several religions that were slightly different so they named their religion pagan. This was before Rome was converted to christian so many christians were killed or jailed at the time. -
Political- Republic
The romans were a republic. They had a senate who made most of the decisions and represented the plebs (the people). -
