Chapter 1,2,3 Summary
The chapter's 1-4 talk about Danny's young life about how his mum died when he was 4 months old and how and where he used live on a small piece of land which contaied an old gypsy caravan which was at least 150 years old they used this as their house they also had a little workshop that could nicly fit a car to be able to get worked on. They also had a little office which had only a small desk,cash register and type machine. -

Roald Dahl is a famous writter from Wales his is widly known to write for kids. His most famous title is Charlie and the choclate factory and James and the giant peach.

Chapter 4,5 summary
These two chapters is all about how Danny finds out about his fathers biggest secret ever. Danny finds out about how his dad is a POACHER! But that is not the way Danny's dad see's it he see's it as being a sport and food for the poor. His dad explains about the tough times back in his day. His dad tell's him the true spirt of poaching. -
Chapter 6,7
In chapter 6 Danny's dad describs to Danny why he goes poaching in Hazzel's woods. In chapter 7 Danny's dad promses to be home at 10.30 the latest. When Danny wakes up and checks the time it is 2.00 his dad is 4h overdue. Danny takes the Austin he was fixing and drives to Hazell woods in search of his dad and on his way there he comes across a police car! He has one choice to run away! -
Chapter 8,9
These two chapters is all about how Danny enters Hazzell wood he describes about the forest and how he felt looking for his father.
He decribes the techniqe he used,feelings and conversation. Chapter 9 is more focused all about the medical treatment Danny's dad is reciving because his dad has broken his leg by falling in a huge pit!! -
Chapter summary 10 and 11
Chapter 10 shows Danny's dad describing his want to destroy a huge shooting party Mr Victor Hazzel is throwing. Chapter 11 reflects Danny's exelent idea of pulling off his dad's deadily dream. His idea is putting sleeping pills in rasins instantly setting the phesants to sleep! -
Chapter 12 and 13
Chapter 12 is all about peapering the plan.But something terrible happens to Danny at school! He gets slapped by the cane leaving scar of pain and what looks like a burn mark at school for answering a question (what are 9 eights?). Danny's dad is furious when he gets the news. He swears he will kill Captian Lancaster. But Danny pulls him away from doing it.
Chapter 13 is all about making the rasins and filling them up with powder from the sleeping pill.And setting off to an outbreak in history! -
Chapter summary 14,15
Chapter 14 is all about getting to the woods and travilling to the woods.In chapter 15 they find the clearing with 200 phesants and chickens roosting but it was guarded by a keeper. BUT! Danny's dad has a few tricks up his sleve. Chapter 15 describes about being right next to a keeper. Mind me those keepers are very suspicious and have bad manners. -
Chapter 16 and 17
Chapter 16 is all about collecting all the phesants which is falling out the sky like rain drops. For Danny this is a taste of being the champion of the world.
Chapter 17 is all about the taxi ride home and Danny finds out how much this villiage is a poacher town. -
Chapter 18 and 19 summay
Chapter 18 is all about a story telling walk home after the taxi had droped Danny & dad of.They laugh and remember.Soon enough most his friends have found out a very good thing for the public of the village and something bad for the uninformed Mr Victor Hazzel. Chapter 19 has a very unusal begging to it.It all starts of with Doc Spencer infomed with the amazing.Then Mrs clipstone comes to the station in a very unusal way espesily for Danny. It's also that the phesants are ready!!! -
Chapter 20,21 summary
Chapter 20 is about Mr Hazzel's discovery of what was his phesants on Danny's dad filling station.He is furious that Danny's dad has all his phesants.Mr Hazzel bloats out lots of nasty words.BUT not all is bad scince the police has reached where its most needed.After a long verbal fight Enoch(Police officer)comes up with an idea to try make the phesants go back in the woods.Chapter 21 is all about Doc Spencers suprise.He has saved 6 phesants which are dead because of an overdose of pills. -
Chapter 22 summary
In chapter 22 they describe to each other how they loved destroying Mr Hazzels party although they didn't even get all the phesants they caught. They decide of trying something else also they also want to try learn how to tickle trout. As well as buing an oven.
The End wasn't it amazing!!!!
