The French and Indian war ended
On this day the French and Indian war ended. England had a huge war dept, so the dicided to taxes the people of the 13 colonies. And the trouble began. -
Proclumation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was a royal decree that prohibited the colonist from going anywhere west from the apalation mountains. They would then be to from the colonies and the king would no longer be responsible for them. -
Sugar Act
The sugar act required coloniest to pay 6 pense for and on any import of foriegn molassees or sugar. -
Stamp Act
The Stamp Act required the colonist to pay extra money for any printed paper including playing cards. -
Quartering Act
The Quartering Act allowed the British soilders to go into the coloniest houses. -
Townshend Act
This act was an external act, so it did not effect the colonist directly. What the British did was they taxed the colonist for common day things. -
The Boston Massacre
The event had much importance. No one know what realy happened, but this is what we do know. I was a dark night and an angry mob of colonist were attack the british with, snowball, stick and clubs. Some where along those line a shot from the British was fired. And then more shots, untill it left five men dead and many injured. -
Coercive/Intolerbale Acts
This declared that the people of Boston could not use the Boston harbor untill the tea was paid for. -
Tea Act
The Tea Act was an act that stated all tea must be imported form the British East India Co. Tea is taxed 3 pounds. -
Boston Tea Party
Americans dressed up like Native Americans and dumped 45 tons into the Boston Harbor. -
First Contiental Congress
It was a big meeting that inculded Ben Franklin about the Intolerable Act. -

Paul Revere road through Lexington and concord yelling "The Brithish are coming!" -
