During the Battle of Concord the Americans stopped the British and told them to go back to Boston. The troops burned the weapons they found . This battle ended in a American Victory.

    Ticonderoga was a rich military and key location . Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen were the ones who captured the Fort . Arnold found out that Ethan Allen was planning to attack to fort as well . They ended up attacking it together and it resulted in an American Victory.

    The Second Continental congress had agreed to meet again but only if the British did not address their complaints They set up a post office and also created a Continental army. They also had sent the Olive Branch to ask the King to protect their rights , then the King hired 30,000 Hessian Soldiers. The Delegates had voted for John Hancock to be the president of the Second Continental Congress.

    This pamphlet inspired more colonists to become Patriots. This listed powerful reasons why american would be better off without Great Britain. The pamphlet had influenced many opinions throughout the colonies.

    Washington believed that his army was ready to fight , and the weapons arrived , and he set them up while the red coats were asleep. They put cannons on Dorchester . This move had surprised the British . The British retreated and this ended in an American victory.
