This was a line drawn that when crossed you where no longer protected under the British. The lad was captured from France after the French and Indian war. -
Stamp act
This was the first direct tax on the colonist. This taxed almost all printed materials. -
Quartering act
This required colonist to provide food and shelter to British soldiers. This created our 3rd amendment. -
Declaratory act
This act declared that England´s authority to make laws for the colonies. This was brought up a major up roar between England and the Colonies. -
Townshend acts
This act taxed all items like tea, paper, and glass. They used the taxes to pay for the war. -
Boston Massacre
Tensions were built and laid off workers where yelling and throwing stuff at British troops. 5 people where killed. -

Colonist send delegates to a colonial congress to discuss what to do next. The start of the american revolution. -
Tea Act
The British lowered the tax on tea. With the tea cheaper the colonist didn´t want to have the tax on tea. -
Boston Tea Party
Colonist dressed up as Native Americans and threw crates of tea into the Boston Harbor. This caused the British to shut down Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable or coercive acts
The English shut down Boston Harbor.They also stopped allowing elections. -

This was the start to the American revolution. This also started many other revolutions. -

This was the document signed to show the separation of the colonies from England. Ended relationships between the colonies and England.
