Sugar Act
The Colonist have to pay for Taxes to the British everytime when have to sell wine of coffee. But the Colonist wanted to reblied because they weren´t happy at all. -
Stamp Act April 5 1765
The Stamp tax were use for documents, newspapers, pamplents, playing cards, dices and all other printed material because the british want to raise revenue and the Coloinists reaction was to burned tax collection because they don´t want to pay extra. -
Quatering Act March 24 1765
Soilder would have to go to quater because they would have a public building to stay in. Colonist must supply British troops with living quaters, bedding, food, beer , cider and rum. The British reason was soilder quarted in public building but they want to move away from cities would need to be private home. And the Colonnist were FURIOUS but this time was peace but not war. And the Colonist attempted a limit freedom. And take soilder away. -
Virgina Resolve May 30 1765
The House of Burgesses passed the Virigina Resolves which denied the Parliament’s right to tax the colonies under the Stamp Act. So they had to protect the people. -
Stamp Act Congress Oct 7- 25 1765 (in NYC)
The Congress sent a letter to the government petitioning tax.
Meetings inspired a number of protests, refusals to pay taxes and even attack the Congress and also on tax collectors. -
Repeal of Stamp Act- March 18 1766
Under the pressue of the colonies and with thier economy slumping because the Boycott of british goods, and Parliament reapealed the Stamp Act on March 1766. -
Pontiac Rebellion- May 7 1763 - July 25 1766
Frontier forts to attacked. Native Americans can trick settlers to gain access to their fort, and then they would capture or kill inhabitants. After a while in July 25 1766 Pontiac signed a treaty but the treaty didn´t surrender
