    Americans managed to make the British troops retreat
  • Second Continental Congress meet

    Second Continental Congress meet
    They meet up in Philadelphia. They decide to start printing their own currency to seprate them even more form the British and they also set up a post office. They decide to create an army lead by george washington called the Continental army. They voted to send an olive branch letter saying the want to cut ties with Britain, the King sends 30,000 hessian soldiers in retailation.

    Benedict and Ethan capture the fort using a passageway. The steal all the supplies from it including moving cannons. American troops win.

    He arrives and sees that his supposed army is very disorganized and need discipline if they are going to fight the British. They need proper training as in strategies to counter the British method. And they need some more weapons to fight with.

    As they get ready to fight Washington has faith in the men he has. They wait for weapons to arrive so they can fight, and they put cannons on Dorchester Heights overlooking Boston. They use it to corner the British army into a retreat. Americans treat it as a VICTORY.

    This time they discuss the debate on the declartion of independence. They decide to have Thomas Jefferson as its primary author and after he is done they will add things in themselves. When it was finshed all of the 13 colonies as a union voted YES on declaring the colonies independence from britian.

    After all the colonies agreeing to have it written they start to sign it. When signing this they are putting their living in danger. Because if they war fails they would be putting a target on their backs. Even though he knew this John Hanncock still wrote his name in big letters so all can see. This a declaration of the colonies freedom and liberty away from the British rule. America is now free!!
