    All of the colonies have representatives except for Georgia. Each colony voted to send a "statement of grievances" And voted to boycott all of the British trade. The also tried to unite against Britain.

    Midnight ride of Paul Revere
    Paul Revere ride to Lexington and Concord, to warn the Sons Of Liberty that the British were coming. This helped the minute men get ready. They also help prepare the colonists.

    Was the first battle of the American Revolution. Paul Revere warned the sons of liberty about the British. This battle was a British victory.

    The American stop the British and force them to surrender back to Boston. This Battle was an American victory
  • Capture of fort Ticonderoga

    Capture of fort Ticonderoga
    Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen capture the fort in 1775. They took all the supplies and took it to help them fight. This was an American victory
  • Second continental congress meets

    They printed money and set up a post office. The created the continental army led by George Washington. They also sent an Olive Branch to the king hoping to have their rights protected the king in response hired 30,000 hessian soldiers
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    Fought of Breed's hill. The Americans ran out of ammunition and this led to a British victory. The British learned it would not be easy defeating the Americans
  • Thomas Paine published Common Sense

    Thomas Paine published Common Sense
    pamphlet that inspired more colonists to become patriots published by Thomas Paine. This pamphlet stated reasons we should part with Britain.
  • British surrendered Boston

    Washington has the high grounds and puts cannons up high. He believes his troops are ready when weapons arrive. British retreat, an American victory
  • Second Continental Congress meets again

    This meeting held the debate of whether or not they should declare independence. Also decided who the primary author for the declaration of Independence should be. They decided Thomas Jefferson because he can write better and he more liked.
