the war started in 17754 and ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763. . it started because Great Britain wanted more land on north America. -
2. The Proclamation of 1763
declared by the British crown at the end of the French and Indian War. the war started mainly intended to conciliate the Native Americans. -
3. The Sugar Act
the sugar cat was enforced by the British to make the post-war economic depression worse. they made molasses from 6 to 3 pence per gallon. -
Stamp Act of 1766
the act made it so the British colonist had to pay tax for anything that had a red stamp on it. -
Townshend Acts of 1767
it added tax to glass, lead, paint, paper, and tea. -
The Boston Massacre
on 1770 colonist threw snowballs rocks and sticks at a squad of British soldiers. the British soldiers killed 5 colonist because they threw snowballs. -
tea Act
the act let the tea compony ship the tea to the colonist without having to stop in the UK first. -
Boston Tea Party
it was a political protest where all of the colonist threw all of Britons tea into the ocean because of how they where taxing them. -
intolerable Acts
it was four laws made by the British empire to punish Massachusetts for the Boston Tea Party. -
1st Continental Congress
it was a boycott to refuse all of the British's goods until parliament should rescind the Intolerable Acts.
