2nd Continential Congress
They all agreed in 1774 to meet again if the British didn't agree to the colonists' terms. It had worsened because of the battles. They created an army that George Washington led. They print their own money and set up a post office. They sent a petition called Olive Ranch asking for peace. The king declined and sent 30,000 hessians. -
