    Between Aug 1756 and Feb 1763, The French and Indian War took place because the British showed interest in the Ohio River valley because of beaver fur because it is waterproof in order for the French to protect their claims the French built a chain of forts from Lake Ontario south to the Ohio river so the British responded by building their own fort which got lost after the french seized it.

    the sugar act was an act in 1764 that can be looked at as a synonym for tax and law this new tax lowered the tax on molasses imported to the colonies.The idia was that a lower tax would lower the price and encourage more people to buy and encourage colonists to stop smuggling it also allowed officers to seize accused smugglers.

    On march 5th 1770 the boston massacre happened because their was a fight between bostonians and british solidors then the british soldiors fired on the bostonians and when the smoke cleared 5 lay dead and 3 were injured among the dead was Crispus Attucks as well as christopher seider which lead the colonists calling for a stronger boycott theses actions lead to parliament repealing the townshend acts
