Hitler Joins NSDAP

Hitler after WWI was used by the government to spy on anti-gov. organizations. As hitler was investigating the NSDAP he became to like the partys teachings and practice and joined the party himself.

March on Rome

Oct 22, 1922

Mussilini wanted to take over the Italian government. He marched thousands of his followers into Eome and the king had no option but to turn over his power and goverment to Mussilini. This was all done without any bullets being fired.

Russian Civil War

War that occured between the former Russian Empire and the Bolshevik party. First assumed control in Petrograd and then throughout Russia.

Beer Hall Putsch

Hitler hung out with big politicians at the beer hall. He decided if he wanted to take over the government the best way would be to hold theses men in the beer hall with the help of his own mob and persuade these politicians of his own ideas. This was a failed attempt and led to the inprisionment of Hitler.

In WWI Italy was embarresed by getting defeated by Ethiopia. Mussilini wanted to prove themselfs so the invaded Ethiopia and crushed them due to Italys modern technologies.

Remilitarization of the Rhineland

In the treaty of Versilles the other countrys banned Germany from militerizing Rhinland. When Germany does this not only does it not show Germany is now taking military progress it shows they have no regard to the treaty.

Anschluss Austria

Austria also became completly seperate from Germany in the treaty of Versialles. Germany took this land back and annexed them making this Germanys land. This showed that Germany was now expanding again.

Munich Conference

This conference was inteaded to be an appesment to Germany. They were going to and they did let Germany annex Czechs Sudentenland with the agreement of that being Germanys last expandment. They didn't want to start another war but Germany continued to expand.

Hitler Takes the Sudetenland

Germany expanded to the Sudetenland. This showed that he was trying to control more land. After he took the Sudetenland he persecuted their Jews.

Rape of Najing

Japanese captured the city of Nanjing and staged a genocide of its people. Brutally murdering and raping its occupents.
