This ruined Germany's economy and angered the German people. During the conference, Japan who was on the winning side asked for an equality clause so they would be seen as equals and were laughed at until they stormed out of the palace

    Benito Mussolini, the grandfather of facism gathered many other fascists and had them storm Rome and demand that the king appoint him prime minister.

    After Hitlers failed attempt to seize power while wasted he was imprisoned at Landsberg. During his stay he wrote a book detailing his ideals and what he wanted to do with Germany called Mein Kampf or My Struggle

    Adolf Hitler, the man who had served in WW1 and formed a coup in his youth was now on the fast track to becoming the chancellor of Germany. He did this all legally, through the diplomatic process.

    During Hitler's campaign, many people seemed to oppose him or have concerns about his actions and motives. Hitler silenced any of those who spoke out about their concerns on the "Night of the Long Knives". He had over 100 government officials who opposed him silenced.

    After the embarrassment at the Palace of Versailles where Japan was mocked for asking for a racial equality clause, they were angry. Japan rapidly industrialized by using the United States' oil to build massive plants and weaponry. Japan rapidly militarized and wanted to vent its anger.

    Japan had rapidly militarized and now wanted to conquer. Hideki Tojo a military general who had become Prime minister had been pulling all the strings for this instead of the emperor. During the invasion, these military troops would go through and murder indiscriminately, women, and children, they didn't care. They pillaged and raped every part of Nanjing. They would either kill all Chinese on sight or round them up and murder them all.

    Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini met in Rome and had a conference. Hitler idolized Mussolini as the father of fascism and he wanted to create an alliance with him. This alliance would be the foundation of the Axis Powers. Japan would later join this alliance finalizing the Axis Powers

    Germany wanted to expand its new empire and decided to start with Poland. The polish put up very little resistance which allowed Hitler to take it over with ease. After this Hitler's new target had become France.

    Germany, Italy, and Japan three major fascist war powers decided to form an alliance with the tripartite pact, this would solidify the Axis Powers and start the biggest, and most infamous war in history.
