They were called "The Smartest Distance Between Two Points, US Atlas: Richrad Saul Wurman 1990 Road Atlas". This was the first thing he accomplished that made him realize that he wanted to make information available to other people. HIs first carrer had been in design, and he had worked on several informational books to design the graphics. -
