The conference was the meeting of all the countries involved with WW2 to discuss what was to be done with the opposing countries. They ended up comming to a promise of free elections in the countries involved and that Germany would be slip up amongst the Allies and that Poland would join with Russia and be a communist country. -

After the bombings of two of Japans famous cities. TJapan surrendered and their generals boarded the battle ship Missouri in Tokyo Bay. They signed an agreement that ended a war finally after 3 yrs, 8 months, and 22 days. -
Creation of United Nations
Coined by president Rossevelt. The United Nations was to help promote international cooperation and to achieve peace and security. The charter for the UN was signed June 26th and Poland was the last to sign of 50 countries. -

North Korea invaded South Korea. Beacause of the invasion the United Nations had to take action and try to stop North Koreas forward movements. -

The signing of Tonkin Gulf Resolution unoficcially declared war against vietnam. This all took place because of the 16,000 U.S soldiers there and the death of 100 plus the assasination of the former president kennedy. -

North Vietnam attacked all of South Koreans major cities during the Lunar New Year Holiday. It took weeks for the U.S. and South Korea to take back most of South Koreas cities. -
Ending of Vietnam War
American left South Korea after the Paris peace accords were signed. After Leaving North korea was allowed to take back the lands that they recently have taken for South Korea peacefully.
