    British wanted to stop the rebellion of the colonist, the british troops wanted to invaded New York. The British went to New York harbor with about 32,000 soldiers and many hired soldiers, German mercaneries also known as Hessians.The Continental Army tried to defend New York but they were very poorly equipted so they decided to leave.
  • Bunker Hill

    Bunker Hill
    Also Known as " the deadlist battle of the war" began with Thomas gage as a general he ordered to make a move at the militianmen at the Breeds Hill. That day Gage would send about 2,400 British troops up the hill North close to Bunker hill. The minutemen had fired at the las moment and suffured a big loss of 450 men but the British suffered 1,000 injuries and deaths .
  • Lexinton And Concord

    Lexinton And Concord
    The colonist had known that the "redcoats" were heading their way, about 700 British troops it was. The signal of bells and gunshots that alarmed most of the colonist. It was 700 troops versus 70 minutemen. 8 of the minutemen were killed and they were defeated. The troops followed to Concord at that time. They had a tactic called the Guerilla tactic, where they would hide in trees or walls and fire at the British troops, about a dozen troops were deaceased by the end of the fight

    George Washington with a desperate win stroke on christmas night, 1776. He had gathered more than 2,400 men in a rowboat from the Delaware River to Pennsylvania. They had also marched to their target which was Trenton, New jersey and they defeated the Hessians with the surprise attack.

    In Saratoga there was several battles that had happened. At this time the war was won by Americans.
  • Philadelphia

    British troops marched into Philadelphia and occupied the city. The approach they had made forced the second Constitutional Congress.

    The Constitutional Army had multiple soldiers ready and armed at Valley Forge. They did not have enough supplies and were left with no survives, They had a total of 2,000 men who have died that day.

    Yortown battle was the last major battle of the Revolutionary war, after British Lord Charles Cornwallis surrounders to the American Army and leader. It was a chance that gave George Washington recognition and his presedance.

    The treaty of paris was formally the ending of the American Revolutionary War. Both American reprersentatives and King George III negotiated into an agreement that gave America more expasion through westward and the territory in east.
