Boston Tea Party and Intolerable Act
The Boston Tea Party was when the colony was tired of the British taxes. The colonists got a group of protests and made their way to the dock to dump over 300 chests of tea in retaliation for the taxes imposed on them. After the Boston Tea Party the British Parliament passed some laws in 1774 known as the Intoerable Act. The laws were made to punish the colony of Massachusetts. The laws were the Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government Act, Impartial Admin of Justice Act, & Quartering Act. -

Battles of Trenton and Princeton
The battle of Trenton is when George Washington led a surprise attack on hessiab soldiers. The Americans ended up winning and capturing nearly 1000 hessian soldiers. The battle of Princeton was after the Trenton war George led the troops to Princeton. The Americans beat the British forces. The second win made the British retreat and it gave the Americans. These battles were important because the American spirit got revied and they gained confidence. -
Valley Forge
Valley Forge is where George Wasington's army was camping in the winter from 1777 through 1778. Many of the soldiers suffered from cold, hunger, and sickness. George Washington was training for the American Revolution George wasinton wanted to make the army stronger and better. -
Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris ended the American revolution. The treaty was signed on September 3, 1783. Britain recognized the United States as an independent nation. The treaty also set new borders extending from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River and Canada to Florida. Americas also gained fishing rights off the coast of Canada. The treaty officially ended British control in America.
