    This battle was a small battle but was important. It is important because it was the start of the Revolutionary War. A shot was lead by a soldier and it's now known phrase as ¨ the shot heard around the world"
  • Battle of ConCord

    Battle of ConCord
    The battle of Concord was the same day as the Battle of Lexington. Then men marched to the city of Concord and stared to raid the cities stash. They also defeated the British Troops at the North Bridge.

    The British were on Bunker Hill and and Breed's hill fro an advantage against the Americans. Then the British ended up winning the battle but many of their soldiers were wounded and killed in the process.

    Battle of Trenton
    This was a battle with George Washington when he arrived in Trenton. Americans were not prepared and​ then soon surrendered.

    The British army wanted to gain the colonial capital​ of Philadelphia.

    Valley Forge

    This was where the American Continental Army made camp. This camp had many benefits and many disadvantages. There were at least 10,000 soldiers at the camp. This camp was high enough to see if the British were to do something also was close to protect Philadelphia. This camp was in terrible condition, at least 2,000 soldiers died when it came to the springtime.

    Battle of Saratoga

    This battle was a turning point in the war. The British did have a plan to take down the Americans but then failed they wanted to split them up but the Americans then captured 500 of the soldiers. British​ surrendered and the Americans had a feeling they could win this war.

    This Battle was the most important battle in the war. This was where the British​ had surrendered and decided to create peace because they had seen they were not going to win the war.

    This was the end of the war, they had all came to an agreement and the treaty was signed on September 3, 1783. The Treaty of Paris acknowledges Americans'​ independence.
