    the British parliament finally passed the stamped act or Duties in American colonies act. many Americans didn't pay refused to pay Stamp act tax. so the American colonist were angered by the stamp act and quickly acted to oppose it.

    the townshend Acts were to help pay the expenses involved in governing the American colonies, Parliament passed the Townshend Act which initiated taxes on glass,paint Nonimportation response to new taxes, the colonies again decided to discourage the purchase of British imports.

    the Boston massacre was caused because the British wanted to raise the taxes without representation. And caused the American colonists to get angered at the British. which caused a riot on king street Boston, and one of the British heard someone say fire which caused all the other officers to fire the guns at the crowd which killed 5 people.

The British decided to take two hills Bunker Hill and Breed's Hill in order to gain a tactical advantage.

Following the American victory morale among American troops was high but after witnessing the American victory, they formally allied with the Americans.

    it started because Cornwallis chose Yorktown because of its deep-water harbor on the York River. Washington's forces defeated Lord Charles Cornwallis veteran army dug in at Yorktown Virginia. Victory at Yorktown led directly to the peace negotiations that ended the war in 1783 and gave America its independence.
