    French & Indian War

    The French & Indian War was known as the 7 year war between the Great Britain and France. This war started in 1754 and ended in 1763. This conflict took place in North America colonies. Each side involved in the war were both supported by the Native American tribes.
  • Quatering Act

    Quatering Act
    Throughout all the American colonies, this act required coloniel governments to allow their homes to British soldiers in North America territories with housing and with food, in barracks including public places. This act took action due to the British government leaving their soldiers behind to protect the colonies from the Native Americans and from the French. Since the number of soldiers were larger than the housings, they had to stay in inns, barns alehouses, etc.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Great Britain required the colonist to pay taxes depending on what kind of paper, documments, and playing cards. The Great Britain government created this law without the colonist legislatures. This caused a lot of riots, protests, coordinated intercolonial respones to go on for months until then the Parliament finally decided to repeal the Stamp act.

    The Boston Massacre took place in March 5, 1770 on Kingstreet, Boston, where British guards/soldiers shot a crowd of civilians or colonists and killed 3 men. Crispus Attucks is a African and Native desent who was the first man/person killed in the Boston Massacre. Thomas Preston was a Commander who was in tha Britan Army. Pretson was taking to jail and went to court with the charges of murder. He had a seprate trial compared to the other officers. Prestons trial lasted from October 24-30, 1770.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    The Battle of Bunker Hill was the first American Revolutionary War. This took place in Charlestown, Penisula. Although the British took over Charlestown, the American colonies could hold against the superior British Army. The cause of this war was because the British wanted to take control of the city and valubale seaports. American colonists refused being taxed by the British without their consent.

    Battle of Yorktown

    In the Battle of Yorktown or he Seige of Yorktown the British surrendered to General George Washington. The victory of this battle beame the last major battle of the American Revolutionary war. This brought America's inndependence and also led to peace negotiations.
  • Treaty in Paris

    Treaty in Paris
    This treaty ended the Revolutionary war and recognized the United States as a nation of Independence. The treaty was signed by the American colonies and the Great Britain on September 3rd, 1783.
