Lexington & Concords Revolution

Apr 18, 1775

Kings men owing to their uniforms known as "redcoats" entered Lexington, Massachusetts, five miles south of concord, on April 19's wet, windy morning. Lexington's battle only lasted 15 minutes, 3,000 to 4,000 minutemen assembled.

Bunker Hill Revolution

Jun 17, 1775

Colonist hold their fire and then mow down redcoats before retreating. Gage sent 2,400 British soldiers to the hill.

Saratoga and Valley Forge

Oct 17, 1777

Burgoyne fought off the colonial troops, an didn't realize his B01ritish people were worried with holding Philadelphia. Nobody met with him. More than 2,000 soldiers died

British at New York and Treaty of Paris

1783

French and American troops surrounded the British on the York town peninsula. Cornwallis surrounded on October 19, 1781. Many communities got destroyed or displaced in the revolution. Settlers got unprotected by the treaty of paris.
