    British troops were sent to seize illegal weapons by a man named Thomas Gage. The British went to concord and found there was a empty arsenal. So colonist attacked and sent British back to Boston.
  • Piladelphia

    called the Second Continental congress in Philadelphia, where they would discuss if they would declare independence or have reconciliation with the British.
  • Bunker Hill

    Thomas Gage decided to attack the colonist up hill. He sent 2,400 British Soldiers. 450 colonists were killed and 1,000 British soldiers were injured.

    In order to stop people from rebelling against the British they decided to seize New York City. With 32,000 soldiers. Colonists lost because they could not compete with the British and the british pushed Washington's army to Pennsylvania.
