Benedict Arnold Betrays America
Benedict Arnold meets up with a British general, discussing a deal they made- giving West Point to Britain in return for lots of money and a position in the British army. This plan was found out by a Patriot, ruining their plan. This prevented a traitor from running the Continental Army and a loss that would affect the Continental Army negatively. -
Battle of Yorktown
The Americans and French blocked the British army from all sides, causing an easy surrender from the British. This major battle was the last straw for the British, causing them to surrender the Revolutionary War.
