    The Proclamation of 1763
    This was a proclamation issued by the king at the end of the French and Indian war. It was used as reconciliation for the Indians and it stated that settlers couldn't encroach on their land. This made the colonists very angry.

This information was leaked to the Americans and 2 lanterns were hung, to alert the troops that the british were coming by sea. Paul Revere and many others rode into the country side and gathered the troops. By the end of the day 93 americans and 125 british soldiers and commanders were dead.
