    The colonist win this battle. Paul revere rides to all the villages to warn them that the british are coming. The colonists win by using gorilla warfare hit and run. The british suffered and extensive loss. The importance is the americans consider it a encouraging booster war.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The british win this war. Took place in Charleston Pennsylvania north side of Boston harbor. There was 2,400 British vs 1,500 Americans. British had more advanced equipment. A heroic stand against the forces of opposition made a statement to the british that it wasn't going to be easy but the british fought through.
  • Battle of Long Island

    The British win this war and take over New York. This causes the Colonies to retreat to Delaware river. 20,000 British vs 10,000 Americans. Even in artillery both armed with bayonetts.

    Battle of Trenton and Princeton

    The colonist won both wars. There was two battles. At the battle of Princeton 7,000 Americans vs 8,000 british. 1,200 British troops are engaged. The colonist had less soldiers and the colonist were able to win back to back wars.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The colonist win this battle. General Burtgunes British army surrenders. After this war is when France and Spain join. 5,000 British vs 12,000 Colonist. After this war it made France and Spain join this is the importance.
  • Battle of Vicennes

    This battle was a colonel win because the British surrendered. The battle was held at Fort Sackville it was 40 British vs 170 colonel men but it seemed like 500.George roger Clark was a main man in the battle. The importance is it revealed how weak the british were so the native americans couldn't rely on them anymore.
  • Battle of Bonhomme Richard vs Serapis

    Richard wins. Serapis is escorting Baltic merchant ships fleet. Captain of Serapis asked Richard if he had struck his colors. After 3 hours of furios fighting Serapis surrenders. The continental navy was weak the British navy was strong and the British thought they had won but the continental navy comes back and forces the british to surrender.

    Battle of Charleston

    This battle was a british victory. The battle took place in Charleston South Carolina, even on equipment both had muskets and bayonets. On may 17,1780 5,466 american troops became prisoners. The importance is it showed the colonial army what the british were capable of doing.
  • Battle of Guilford Courthouse

    British victory long hard fought war. This battle took place in North Carolina. 1,900 British vs 4,400 Americans. Pyrrhic victory which means the British lost a lot of soldiers but they still won. The British were tired hungry after many days of marching. The importance was it was a very unfair war but the British won proving how tought they were.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    This was a Colonist win. The British surrender . This war puts an end to the American Revolution. Yorktown is in Virginia this is where the battle happen. 8,800 Americans and 7,800 french vs 6,000 British and German.
