Battle of Bunker Hill
American forces learned that the British were planning on taking over the hills around Boston in order to gain a tactical advantage. the Americans secretly moved their troops onto Bunker and Breed's Hill just outside of Boston in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Started during the Siege of Boston in the early stages of the American Revolutionary War, named after Bunker Hill because it was primarily involved with the war. -
Declaration of Independence
signed by 13 American congressional representatives. John Hancock was the first person to sign, signing it very large so that the King of Britain wouldn't have to take off his glasses to see his signature. Americans were going to break away from Britain being the start of the Revolutionary War. -

Continental Army surrounded General Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia, French fleets blocked the British Navy, and the Continental Army blocked the land part of the plateau. Cornwallis surrendered, and this marked the last battle of the Revolutionary War -

Being the final conclusion of the Revolutionary War, the patriots and the British agreed to follow the rules of this treaty but other countries did not.
