The Battle of Princeton was in New Jersey. The Battle of Trenton happened before this battle. US coloniest wanted to keep pressure on the British so they suprised attacked them. The British wanted to protect their land in New Jersey and the US coloniest wanted to get the land and also keep pressure on the British. -

Patriots Leaders- General John Stark and Colonel Seth Warner Battle took place in Bennington, Vermont. British were there to cut the Middle and Southern colonies from the New England colonies and to get much needed supplies. Patriots were there to stop them from cutting New England off from the rest of the colonies. British- 207 killed, 700 captured
