    The congress were upset about the intolerable acts, and taxes against them, therefore they met in secret so the Brittish did not catch them. Meetings were held to discuss the unfair way the Brittish were treating them. And the rights that they should have.

    On April 18, Brittish troops marched from Boston to nearby Concord to take their weapons. Paul Revere road through the night warning others of the red coats attack. In Lexington the shot was fired begining the revolutionary war.

    George Washington, and 17,000 French and continental troops took Yorktown Virginia from the Brittish. Believed to be the most iomportant battle of the revolutionary war. General lord Cornwallis surrendered.
