significance- the battle at concord was the first time the british retreated from the colonists. they gave the colonists a sense of confidence and that they might have a chance of being successful in fighting for their rights. -

Colonists throughout America realized that the conflict was no longer restricted to Boston and or Massachusetts, and Bunker Hill became a cry of the patriots in every contest of the war. Patriots ran out of supplies and the British won.
They inflicted huge casualties with the british. The Patriots learned to bring more supplies. -
