British taxed Stamps to help pay for costs of defending and protecting the American frontier near the Appalachian Mountains. -

Parliament passed for soldiers to be provided for the basic needs by coloniest. like bedding, cooking utensils, firewood, beer. It basicly help the British soldiers. -

Patriots grabbed 342 chests of tea in a midnight and threw them in the river to protest taxes. It become a big movement. -
Battle of Trenton
When George Washington and the army arrived in Trenton, the Hessians were not prepared for such an attack force. They soon surrendered. The casualties were low on both sides with the Hessians suffering 22 deaths and 83 injuries and the Americans 2 deaths and five injuries. The Americans captured around 1000 Hessians. -

It is one of the most important colonial victories in the U.S. War for Independence. It was not even on Bunker Hill it was on Breeds Hill.The Americans repelled the first two attacks by the British, but were forced to retreat from the third attack when they ran out of ammunition. -

It was the turning point of the Revolutionary War. Convinced France to enter the war on the side of the Americans. This was a brilliant plan, Burgoyne thought, and he hoped to crush the American Northern Army. Trouble was, it didn't work. Howe never got the message and went to Philadelphia instead. -
Battle of YorkTown
The Battle of Yorktown was the last major battle in the American Revolution. British general Cornwallis was against French general Marquis de Lafayette and General George Washington. Cornwallis surrendered on October 17, his troops vastly outnumbered. By winning this battle, America won the war.
