The colonial's first victory; it was a sneak attack by George Washington and his men while the German Hessians were celebrating and relaxing as it was the day after Christmas. The Colonials won. The french and Spanish then joined the colonials. -

Washingtons soldiers trained for six months at valley forge in horendous condidtoins with strict rules and hard punishments. Some times their feet froze over from the low temperature and snow. -
