The British continued their march south by taking Charles Town. This victory was their greatest in the war. -

Corwallis was the British commander who took the south including Yorktown and Charles Town -
Inflation
Congress struggled to keep funding the war since they ran out of silver to back their money. They had to print more money to keep up with costs and created more inflation. -
Robert Morris and Haym Salomen
Congress hired these money to help with the economy and they backed the Continental money with their own fortunes. -
Yorktown
Cornwallis's troop decided to make Yorktown into a fort. Washington heard the news and marched to Yorktown while the French navy went to destroy the British navy around Yorktown. When the fighting stopped, the Americans had won. -
Treaty of Paris
This treaty confirmed an independent America and set the boundaries for America.
