    The wheel was invented at the 3500 BC. to carry heavy materials to build from long distances, but the first wheels as we know them, were used by potters.
    It was a cylinder conected to a stable to roll on its edge.

    The Abacus
    The abacus is the most primitive form of calculating device. It was invented because of the necessity to calculete huge numbers. The chinese invented the abacus, and then other cultures started to use them.

    The Paper
    The paper was invented in China by a government named Ts'ai Lun. But it wasen't since the year 400 A.C. that people all over Eurasia, and then the rest of the world started to use paper.

    The Clock
    In the early 14th century, large mechanical clocks began to appear in the towers of some Italian cities. Sometime between 1500 and 1510, Peter Henlein created the spring-powered clocks. Minute hands didn’t appear until 1670.

    For more than 400 years, the telescope has help us to study the universe and see what is far away of our planet. The lens was probably inventedat the late 1500s. But in 1608, the first patent for a telescope was apply. A year latter, at 1609, Galileo Galilei created one of his own.

    The modern binary number system goes back to Gottfried Leibniz. He invented the system in 1679, but he published it in 1703. It is like "the language of the computers", a code that only use 0 and 1.

    The first experiments with photogriphy were made at 1816, but the first camera as well, was created at 1839. The "instantaneous" camera idea was developed by Richard Leach Maddox.

    During the 1870's, two inventors independently designed devices that could transmit sound along electrical cables.Those inventors were Alexander Graham Bell and Elisha Gray. In 1878, the workable exchange was developed, which enabled calls to be switched between subscribers rather than having direct lines.

    Thomas Edison is usualy credited for this invention, but there are others sientifics who contribute. In 1802, Humphry Davy invented the first electric light. In 1850 an English physicist named Joseph Wilson Swan created a “light bulb” by enclosing carbonized paper filaments in an evacuated glass.

    The first model of an airplane was created at 1799. In 1896. German Otto try a short fly pulled by horses. Orville and Wilbur Wright have been known throwght the story as "the first men to fly", because of their biplane.
