    A war fought between France and Great Britain. This conflict began when french began to expand their lands into british territory. The french and indians sided with each other against Britain.

    The treaty of 1763 was peace agreement between France and Britain. This ended the French and Indian War. The french gave up their territories, and all threats towards Britain.
  • The Proclamation of 1763

    The Proclamation of 1763
    This was put in place to restrict people from advancing west of the Appalachian Mountains. This let natives be unbothered, and help England control the western expansion. There was little enforcement to this document. Settlers ignored it, and continued to expand beyond the line.

    This was a tax requirement needed for any type of legal document. This also included other documents like licenses, newspapers, or ship papers. This was one of the many things that angered the colonists.

    The Boston Massacre was a shooting that created chaos in the New England Colonies. This was one major of the causes of the American Revolution. A group of angry colonist were protesting against the taxes put on them, when one of the troops was assaulted, thus unleashed a fatal shooting.

    This document stated the reasons why the english colonies want to breakaway from England. Includes ideas like "All men are created equal." The document marks the United States independence.

    This included a raid by George Washington, and demolished a Hessian army. The army was hired by Britain. Another inspirational battle by the americans.

    The turning point of the war. This was the Americans 2nd victory of the war. Americans were motivated from this.

    This was the last major battle of the American Revolution. French allies helped support americans to victory. Lord Cornwallis surrenders, and the US is victor.

    The treaty of Paris was the peace agreement between the US and Great Britain. This ended the war, and granted America it's territory. The US is officially independent.
