Lexington and Concord
In Boston, Paul Revere, William Dawes, Samuel Prescott were warning the colonist that 700 british troops were coming that night at Concord. This was the first battle for the revolutionary war. When the british troops arrived it they were mostly killed by the colonist. -
Philadelphia
In Philadelphia, there were debate on there should be independents from England. The people who debated this were called Second Continental Congress which caused a split in they colony, but they agreed to appoint Gorge Washington as a commander.
