The Printing Press is Invented
The printing press was invented in 1445 by Johannes Gutenberg. It produced mass numbers of bibles and started a revolution. His printing press made lots of bibles for people who didn't have any and even convinced people to switch to Christian. -

Leonardo Da Vinci is Born
Leonardo Da Vinci was a painter who was one of the most important painters of all time. His work inspired many to become artists and was a great part of the Rennesance in the artists group. Many people admired Da Vinci's work and skills. His most famous painting was the Mono Lisa. -

Michael Angelo is born
Michelangelo was another important artist who made many sculptres. His famous statue of David was a big sucess. He also inspired our world today with his paintings in the Sistine Chapel. -

Columbus Discovers America
Columbus discovered America in 1492 when he sent three ships across the sea to find a faster trade route to Asia. He thought England and Japan were only 3,000 miles apart, the actual distance was about 12,00 miles. So he thought he ran into India when he hit the America's and he named Native Americans Indians for he was sure he had landed on the coast of India. -

In 1501 the Statue of David was made. It represented the Rennaisance by the beuatiful carving and how it was so tall. It was made by Michelangelo and he was a big part of the rennaisance too. -

Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel in 1514. It covered the whole roof and was all about Christianity and God. It showed more beauty and was a big part of the Rennaisance. -

Martin Luther's 95 Theses
In 1517 Martin Luther visited Rome. He saw the Holy Catholic Church and how the people were being forced to give money to the church. He thought that was wrong and decided to put a list of 95 things he thought was wrong with the church and nailed it on the door. This let people realize that they could choose their own religion and helped get Christianity a larger number. -

European Wars of Religion
Teh European Wars of Religion were protests for reformation and revolts against other religions. These small protests became a big problem. Everyone wanted others to follow their religion. It shows how Christianity became a big part of Europe. -
End of the Rennaisance
This was the end of the rennaisance when the art and music and all other catogories were through. The rennaisance changed our world today for many reasons. Plenty of people we look back on today were part of the rennaisance and very important.
