Assassination of Abraham Linclon
John Wilkes Booth shot and killed Abraham Lincoln at Ford's theatre. Booth was later caught and killed. Abraham Lincoln was the first preident to be assassinated. -
13th Amendment Ratified
The 13th Amendment outlawed slavery. It also canceled the war debt. It also endedordinance of secession. -
14th Amendment Ratified

Henry McNeal Turner elected to Senete
Henry McNeal Turner was a black Methodist preacher before, during, and after the civil war.He was one of the first black elected officals in georgia senate. He was very important to giving blacks more rights. -
15th Amendment ratified
This stopped states from stopping people from voting based on face color. Was ratified on Feburary 3,1870. -
Georgia Reamitted to the Union
Georgia was the last state to be readmitted to the union. It done it twice. The first time in 1868 the legislator did not support the 15th amendment and stayed under military control until they wrer readmitted in 1870. -

Rutherford was the 19th president of the United States Of America.He was in congress after the Civil War. While as president he attempted to lead civil services but failed.
